3. Similar things have happened to me on more than one

occasion. Now, when I check into a hotel, I inquire about things like wedding parties, prep or college sports teams, or other people likely to be disruptive are booked onto the floor where my room will be. If they are, I request a room on another floor, and don't take any excuses. If someone uses "hotel policy" as an excuse, I ask them what the "hotel policy" is on guests calling the police if disorderly conduct occurs. I get my room on a quiet floor every time.
