8. 2 to 3 years ago, I noticed anti-Left political content in Nat'l Geographic.
Gratuitous political demonization of Hugo Chavez in an article on Venezuela. I was shocked and surprised by this. I'd never seen such a thing in NG before. Didn't know Murdoch had gained control of it. I've since picked up other instances of rightwing political "spin"--nothing quite so blatant, but it's something to look out for in NG articles.
