How much of the Netflix library is available via streaming? Are new releases normally only available on DVD? How about the old stuff?

I did the Blockbuster version for years, but got fed up with their abrupt pricing changes and then of course, the bankruptcy closed most of the stores--which was the only reason the "mail-in" plan made any sense. So, now, I just use the occasional "redbox" rental and leave it at that...
