You're a good person, but on this one you're being a serious hypocrite, and it definitely undermines anything you'll say in the future on the topics of ageism and sexism. You've made many valid points on the topic in the past, but in light of your words in this thread those points will ring hollow in the future. And that's a shame, because I know you mean well. But if you can't see and admit your error here, and just keep digging in your heels, then taking you seriously on this topic will be almost impossible from here on out. I suspect I'm not going to be the only one feeling this way. Your words for a good cause will be falling on many more deaf ears than they would have this morning.

And I don't like Heffner either. But I don't have to criticize him for his age or looks to make that point. Which is the exact same argument you've made a million times here when it concerns a woman.

You should call it a day on this one, but that's up to you, of course.
