14. Could we instead try to outmaneuver them?
Don't pay your debts and the only one who will be hurting is you. "General strike" by only people who agree with us will only cost us our jobs (if we have one). Hell, we can't even convince people to stop buying things made overseas.

What we need to do is be as loud and persistent and in-your-face as they are. We need to keep up the outcry to the legislators. They do work for the wealthy, but they also have to balance that with a way to get re-elected. We should be writing LTTE countering every bit of bullshit that is out there with facts. And maybe we have to do more scaring the crap out of people about what these policies will really mean to them.

So, although I do agree that we have to fight this movement, I think we should be collectively smart enough to do it without going to the crazy side.
