This is an area that was heretofore considered 'recession proof'.

This is two years after the Stimulus Plan was enacted.

With people losing their jobs, their homes, their futures, why is this not considered a DEPRESSION?

Answer: because the stock market's investments in overseas business ventures keeps the Investor Class in America rolling happily along while the Working Class sinks deeper and deeper.

Maybe you should get out of DC, Bob. The rest of the nation is suffering and it's not getting better.
