231. Staff of Koch-funded Northwood University co-authored MI op-ed piece with ALEC task force director

This op-ed piece was co-authored by three Northwood staff members and ALEC task force director Jonathan Williams, and it's largely based on an ALEC publication Williams co-authored with others, but it contains one new suggestion I haven't previously seen from ALEC and didn't see in that ALEC publication. The column suggests that states do better if they have legislators who work only part-time and have smaller staffs. This of course would make those legislators more likely to become dependent on groups like ALEC that provide model legislation (a likely consequence the column omits, as the brief bio information omits the Koch funding behind Northwood and the involvement of corporations, including Koch Industries, in writing ALEC's model legislation).
