about a Michigan state senator who proposed an amendment to the state's constitution, to make the legislature part-time, within days of an ALEC task force director floating that idea in an opinion piece in a Michigan paper (see reply 231 above for the link to the topic about the opinion piece, where the suggestion that part-time state legislatures are a good idea was the only new addition to the standard ALEC suggestions).
