Lieberman shows no interest in Cabinet
January 2, 2005

WASHINGTON --Democratic Sen. Joe Lieberman said Sunday he is not
interested in becoming President Bush's national intelligence director
or homeland security chief, shooting down speculation he might be under
consideration for those jobs.

"I'm not. I appreciate the floating. It's a quadrennial game here in
Washington when a new administration takes shape," Lieberman told ABC's
"This Week."

1. He shows little interest in democracy generally.
Lieberman now is a shadow of him former self -- the years when he went into the Deep South to join the struggle against racism.

Where is that Joe Lieberman?

2. Yeah, he can do a lot more for republicans while pretending to be a
democrat.

When Faux needs a "librul" talking head to put down the party, he's always their "man".

3. Oh. He's switching sides again.
Positioning himself for a slot in the Kerry cabinet.

Bill had Monica. George had Joe.

7. He's an honorable guy,
and his commitment to peace at any price in the middle east through bipartisanship is heartfelt. But he is not dealing with honorable or heartfelt people here, and my greatest disappointment in Joe is that he hasn't yet caught on to that.
Bush has no interest in either partisanship or peace.

9. "Peace at any price"?
Including American blood spilled on Mid-East sand?

Somebody should have tied Arafat's and Sharon's cocks in a knot and thrown them over a clothesline to fight it out themselves.

4. Well, well, well.....Joe's PR is bad enough as it is, why make it worse.
Joe has no where to hide.
Not even in Bush's pocket.

10. Not even as a simple footstool?
Am I alone in imagining with relish the image of Cheney's big wingtips resting comfortably atop Joltin' Joe's ass? And I see Rice balancing her latest $10,000 pumps on his back. Maybe his head could be fitted with a yoke supporting a portable bar...

In any event, let's get somebody to run for Joe's seat. He is the political heir of Zell Miller, and the sooner he's out the better.
