Floods hit Costa Rica and Panama

yep, the gods must be angry ...

Costa Rica's President Abel Pacheco has declared a national emergency after three days of heavy rain led to flooding on the Caribbean coast.
More than 7,000 people have been evacuated from their homes and there is one confirmed death.

The authorities have been unable to reach some indigenous communities in the south of the country.

The flooding has also affected neighbouring Panama, where 5,000 people have been evacuated.

700 houses, 25 bridges, and a brand new $12 million 20 mile road was destroyed...

"yep, the gods must be angry ..."

The indigenous tribes affected, happily living in obscurity for centuries, have lately been overrun with fundie missionaries hoping to convert them. Just what these tribes need, a flood to go along with the newly acquired assumption of guilt and evil delivered by the fundie messengers. Hopefully the natives are okay and the fundies either drown or go home.
