Rice 'apologist for white sins' (Zimbabwe paper)
ZIMBABWE'S state-run Herald newspaper today launched a vitriolic attack on US secretary of state nominee Condoleezza Rice, calling her anti-black and an apologist for "white sins".

A weekly column compared Ms Rice to her predecessor, Colin Powell, whom it called an "Uncle Tom", a put-down of a black who is overeager to win the approval of whites.

"She is a black woman who will be manly and white in her relentless assault on blacks, their liberties and their remnant and dwindling sovereignties," said the column.

"She will be a black who washes away the sins of white power as it bludgeons non-white states."

14. There's that reality-based thinking again...
I wish our USA newspapers had some of that. :)

BTW, Condi is despicable as a key member of the pre-war propaganda campaign-of-lies to go to war, among her other low-points.

I'm certainly not implying one is better than the other.

I am saying the people are what matter. It's their hearts and their minds...

13. After the last Zimbabwean elections, there was story in the paper
which was linked here saying that the CIA or State Department or whomever is giving up on trying to support opposition parties in Zimbabwe and will start trying to find people within the government to "work with" (or bribe or whatever).

Along those lines, I read an article which interviewed one of the recently land-granted farmers in Zimbabwe who said everything was going great (the gov't gave everyone 30 or 60 lbs of seed for their farms, and the piece of land the farmer got was very promissing) but at the last minute the government told the farmers they were not allowed to put up any permanent structures.

The farmer said that if he couldn't build a barn, he couldn't bring his animals to the farm, and if he couldn't bring his animals to the farm, he couldn't plough as much land as he had the seed for planting.

He said the government promissed to get ploughs to all the farms, but he hadn't heard of anyone in his area getting a visit from the plough man.

So, hmmm. Wonder who made the decision not to let people build permanent structures. Sounds like someone doesn't want land reform to work.

8. Condi Rice; The Devil's Handmaiden
Edited on Sat Jan-22-05 05:46 PM by LynnTheDem
One needn't go as far as Zimbabwe to find those who despise the Lying Bitch;

'The Black Commentator'

January 23, 2003

Condoleezza Rice is the purest expression of the race traitor. No polite description is possible.

Authentic Black leadership has done little to impress upon the people that Rice is the devil's handmaiden, an eager accomplice in Bush's crimes. It is one thing to bear insults with dignity. It is quite another to cheer about it.

An excellent article, and includes comment on Armstrong being a PAID rightwignnut tool.

'The Black Commentator'

February 20, 2003

And what about the Bush family's constant companion of the last two decades, Condoleezza Rice? Has her otherwise alienated existence prepared her for the judgment of international tribunals? At age 48, Rice may live to see her day in court.

'The Black Commentator'

Condoleeza's Crimes

The COVER pretty much sums up their superb article:

Although the 9/11 Commission will not lay a glove on her, Condoleezza Rice is finished as a Black political asset of the White Man’s (War) Party. Colin Powell, a much smarter and cagier opportunist, will likely escape this administration still clutching his devalued aura, having hoarded some small measure of political capital for himself. This is not true for Condoleezza Rice. Her complete and abject identification with her master leaves Rice with nothing of her own to claim.

9. If so many are aware.....
Of her negative diplomatic capital, why is the Bush Crime Family pushing this misfit into such a sensitive position. Also please don't short Zimbabwe's media influence on the rest of the world. Their articles are usually of a higher quality than the US media.

16. Mugabe has no business criticizing anybody
Not even Rice. He's a thug. The sooner he is sharing a cell with Milosevic, the better.

17. He has every right to.
Seeing as Rice is going to our number one ambassador, she will most like be in his country if needed. Frankly just about everyone on planet has a right to criticize the house slave because thats just what she is in the end.
