They span decades. You don't turn off that attitude towards women (that they are meat) just because you 'need' to. And I think you underestimate their potential to vote strategically, and respond negatively to political smears just like most other people do. I don't know all the facts, but from what I've read, 'rowdy' does seem to me to be an appropriate description. When actual assault or harrassment occurs, they should be prosecuted. This behavior doesnt come anywhere near those crimes.

Freepers see things through a political prism just as many here do. This keeps people from responding honestly to to charges like this. Ordinary people, not obsessed by politics, see things as they are and not how they may effect their candidates campaign. This is also why both reps and dems misread the Clinton scandal at the outset. The charges are that a some guy was being playfull with the girls and went a little overboard. Not that big a deal.
