It's been just three weeks since Gen. Wesley
Clark tossed his helmet into the presidential
ring, but already he has emerged as one of the
strongest Democratic contenders.

Indeed, six men at one table last night were sailors assigned to the USS Abraham
Lincoln,
the aircraft carrier on which President Bush landed as it returned to San Diego
after a
10-month deployment to the Middle East.

"I was on the flight deck when Bush landed," said one sailor, who did not want his
name
printed. "It was a slap in the face."

Didn't appreciate that "socks-stuffed-in-flight-suit-crotch" act, either!x(

I have known a number of military people who think Bush is an idiot, but unfortunately they are subjected to a lot more pro-Bush propaganda than the rest of the population.
