Paris inferno kills 14 children

The majority of those who died when a fire swept through a building in Paris housing African immigrants were children, French police say.

Fourteen children and three adults died in the blaze, which broke out in the capital's 13th district shortly after midnight. Thirty were injured.

Some 200 firefighters helped many of the 130 people in the seven-storey building to escape.

I mean, they got what they deserved, right? They didn't support President Bush and "His" war on terror, so now the chickens come home to roost.

I'm glad to hear they were able to save as many as they did though but 17 lost lives is terrible!
