Audio on Internet May Be Riyadh Attackers
http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&cid=514&e=12&u=/ap/20031020/ap_on_re_mi_ea/saudi_bombing

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates - An al-Qaida-style recording that has surfaced on the Internet includes what is described as audio of militants launching a suicide bomb attack in Saudi Arabia in May and four purported attackers delivering last testaments.

Saudi officials had earlier blamed the May 12 Riyadh attacks on al-Qaida, the terror network accused in the Sept. 11 attacks on the United States. Nine suicide bombers struck Western housing compounds in the Saudi capital, killing 26 people.

The recordings didn't have any statement indicating al-Qaida ordered or planned the May 12 attack, but one speaker dedicates it to al-Qaida chief Osama bin Laden (news - web sites). The recordings criticized U.S. and Saudi governments and include what appeared to be old bin Laden statements calling on Muslims to wage a holy war on the United States and its allies.

The recordings, reported in the pan-Arab newspaper Asharq Al-Awsat on Sunday, appear to have been first posted on an Islamic online forum on Saturday.
