http://www.sky.com/skynews/article/0,,30000-1108957,00.htmlSUICIDE BOMBER KILLS FOUR IN IRAQ

A suicide bomber has killed himself and four people in the Iraqi town of Fallujah.

The car bomb exploded outside the main police station in the town, west of Baghdad.

Police officers said a small car driven by one man exploded 100 metres from the building, outside a boys' secondary school.

"Four civilians were killed," said Major Assad Abdul Karim.

Yesterday, at least 35 people died and 200 were injured in the worst day for casualties since President Bush said on May 1 that the war against Saddam Hussein was over.

The International Red Cross headquarters in Baghdad was targeted by a bomb driven in an ambulance and three police stations were also attacked.

More to follow...

11. Looks like they are one explosion after all
From the latest BBC reports, it looks like the explosion way over in Fallujah was the one that rocked Baghdad. Must have been some bomb.

12. Just going to post I thought it was same one too.
So many bombs the past few days it's hard to know if there's been one large on or seperate attacks. I feel for everyone over there. Our soldiers and the innocent Iraqis.

At least six killed in Iraq as police clear rubble of earlier deadly blasts
45 minutes ago Add Mideast - AFP to My Yahoo!

FALLUJAH, Iraq (AFP) - At least six people, including children, were killed by a car bomb in the Iraqi town of Fallujah, just a day after 43 people died in the bloodiest day in Baghdad since US troops seized the city.

Tuesday's car bomb exploded near a police station in Fallujah, a flashpoint town 50 kilometers (30 miles) west of Baghdad, an AFP correspondent at the scene reported.

At least six severely charred and mutilated bodies lay on the ground after a pick-up truck blew up about 150 meters from the police station. Another eight people were wounded, according to hospital sources.

13. Back in May or June there was a report of a rumour
that Saddam had 'embedded' loyalists (very convoluted - as to who these people were - that somewhere in the late days that he had organized - not the very top (visible) folks but others identified as loyalists) to organize and stage a series of attacks/sieges during an unexpected 'holiday' time - the guess was the 4th of July holidays. Nothing happened. Here we are at the beginning of Ramaden (sp) - could this be what is happening?

BAGHDAD, Iraq - A car bomb exploded Tuesday near a police station in the tense city of Fallujah, and at least six people were killed, witnesses said.

<snip>
Police and witnesses said the Fallujah bomb was located in a Toyota which exploded in front of the Fallujah power station and about 100 yards from a police station.
