Push comes to shove in Iowa
<http://www.theiowachannel.com/politics/2591608/detail.html>

Looks like the fight for first place is getting a bit physical here in Iowa. This does not look good and both sides should be ashamed. They appear to be losing sight of anyone but b--h.

I hope they can work it out and give a joint press release to say that both campaigns are unified to get ride of b--h.

1. Fighting is good. Dean and Gephardt should be using knives.

I am sick and tired of weak, ineffecutal leaders. Gimmie Harry Truman or Teddy Roosevelt. Our leaders need to warm up for the main event. The more violent the primary battle, the stronger the winner is when he faces Bush.

I want a fucking Alpha male who is willing to do anything to get elected - including politically decimating anyone or anything that gets in his way.

Go at it boys. No mercy. May the best man win.

2. :)
That is a great spin on this episode - I kind of like it. But I hope that they patch things up no matter who wins the nomination.

4. They will. If McCain can support Bush in 2000, they will.
At least Democrats aren't accusing each other of having bastard, interracial children.

6. Well maybe I'm naive
but I honestly think that all candidates will unite when all is said and done to defeat bush. And welcome to D.U. from a fellow Iowan.

8. Unfortunately It Was a Little More Than Described
According to Joe Trippi, Dean's campaign manager, a Gephardt staff person also called the Dean representative a "faggot." Dean's worker happens to be openly gay.

Trippi is asking the Gephardt campaign to fire that staff person for also making that remark.
