Three U.S. soldiers, four Iraqis killed

Baghdad - At least three U.S. soldiers and four Iraqis were killed in separate incidents in Iraq, according to statements issued Thursday.

One U.S. soldier died of a gunshot wound north of Baghdad, and another soldier died following a shooting incident in Fallujah on Wednesday, said a U.S. military statement.

A third U.S. soldier died Wednesday in a vehicle accident near al- Taqaddum, west of Baghdad.

The trend measures one thing: the effectiveness of the insurgency against the effectiveness of US forces. Because the trend is upward, it means the insurgency is ever more effective, or conversely, that the US is ever less effective.

The ineluctable conclusion is this: We are losing.

3. Pretty matter of fact about this one:

"In another incident Thursday, three Iraqis were killed after a U.S. army vehicle crushed their car which was parked at the roadside on the way to Kifl, 140 kilometres south of Baghdad, witnesses said.

The Iraqis had parked the car at the side of the road to allow for the passing of the U.S. vehicle that later resumed its journey between Kifl and Najaf, 180 kilometres south of Baghdad."

Our flags are at half-staff once again today here in Michigan because another soldier or two died from our state.

I don't usually hate people - can't think of anyone I've hated more than this criminal person who resides in our White House.
