Sen. Debbie Stabenow to get fund-raising help from Hillary Rodham Clinton

U.S. Sen. Debbie Stabenow is getting a little fundraising help from some of her Senate friends, including Hillary Rodham Clinton.

Clinton and fellow Democratic Sens. Barbara Boxer of California, Maria Cantwell of Washington state and Carl Levin of Michigan were to appear Thursday night with Michigan Gov. Jennifer Granholm at an event at The Henry Ford in Dearborn.

The general reception cost $250. Guests could also attend a $1,000-per-person special reception.

Proceeds are going to Michigan Senate 2006, a joint fundraising committee authorized by the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee and Stabenow for U.S. Senate.

3. God I wish Gov. Grandholm could run for President.

I think the Repugs stopped their plans to change the rules so Arnold could run for President when they figured out it would make Grandholm eligible as well.
