Fatwa calls for death to Karzai

Taliban have issued a fatwa (religious decree) calling for President Hamid Karzai to be killed for serving American and British “infidels”.

The decree came in a 12-page Pashto-language booklet distributed in the Afghan south. It reiterated a call for jihad against infidels and their slaves. “It should be remembered that there is no difference between infidels and their agents and jihad against them has become incumbent,” the fatwa said.

The document was written by three Taliban Muslim scholars and approved by a council of about 100, a Taliban spokesman said.

“Jihad against all the slaves of Americans and the British, including Hamid Karzai, has become incumbent and they deserve to be killed,” it said. US and Afghan opposition troops forced the Taliban from power in late 2001 after they refused to give up Osama bin Laden, architect of the September 11 attacks on the United States.

1. fatwa
Damn terrorists....fwiw I spend a lot of time in Asia and most of the Muslims I meet like the "west" at least appreciate our efforts at spreading democracy. They do not share the "murder all infidels" mindset.

2. We don't need a fatwa to know that Karzai is a sorry piece of excrement
He is nothing more than the Mayor of Kabul, his authority being non-existent outside the capital.

Karzai appointed a minister for morals whose job was to keep women in their proper place in society. Sure, women did not have to wear the burqa, but they were still veiled and under male domination, a far cry from the emancipation they experienced under the Marxist government that Reagan and Carter toppled.

I hope Karzai suffers as much as the sheep from whose lamb the fur was obtained to make his hat. Karzai's hat is made of lamb fetus. The mother is forced to abort, and the fetus is born alive!

Ghastly!

4. Karzai like Chalabi can only stay as long as we're there.
And at the present, it looks like it will be a long time. The order I think they'll go in, is first Allawi, then Karzai and then Ahmed Chalabi. Of course you don't know whether I mean, the big ace duce or leaving their beloved country.

3. Too bad we didn't let our military finish the job in Afghanistan
instead of charging off into Iraq.
