Iraq flagAkbar Hashemi Rafsanjani, Iran’s influential former president, on Friday called Iraq’s parliamentary elections a “victory” for Iran and said the vote had shattered any US expansionist ambitions in the Middle East.

He also criticised Washington for refusing to give Tehran a role in its Iraq policy

1. Washingtion gave everyone else a role in Iraq's foreign policy...
not to mention what is democracy if * won't allow them to have a Islamic government.

If the Iraqi's want an Islamic government they should have one. Since Washingtion is steering the ship there is no...democracy.

Why can't fuckers see that?

3. The biggest threat by Iran is really two fold:

First, the neocons wanted to invade Iraq to gain control of it's oil. That purpose is now circling the drain as Islamists win the election and Iran will now control it's own oil plus Iraq's oil.

Second, the secondary reason to invade Iraq was that Saddam had turned to the euro in 2000 as his oil trading currency. With Iran opening it's oun bourse, or market in oil and moving to the euro in a 'basket' of oil trading currencies, we see the reason for the Bushite attacks on Iran. It certainly threatens the dollar as the fiat currency for the world.

The Bushites remind me of a guy I once knew who'd rather climb a tree to tell a lie than stay on the ground and tell the truth.

Never believe a word they say. They are incapable of truth.

4. Exactly! It is all about control of Oil! With Iran in charge, the oil
will go to thirsty China who can and will pay more than the US would be able to. Once again,
Bush incompetence strikes. Wonder how much gas will go up this time?
