U.S. allocates more funds for Arrow missile
U.S. Congress approves allocation of USD 133 million for development of Arrow missile project, joint Israel Aircraft Industries – Boeing company production line in Mississippi, Alabama. Also approved – funding of new missile to intercept short-range missiles apparently in possession of Hizbullah

<snip>

"The U.S. Congress has approved Friday the allocation of USD 133 million for the further development of the Arrow missile project and for a joint Israel Aircraft Industries – Boeing company production line.

Boeing manufactured the Arrow missile in its Mississippi and Alabama factories.

Congress approved a total of USD 600 million for security-related deals with Israeli companies that cooperate with American manufacturers.

Moreover, Congress has approved funding for the research and development of a new missile that will provide an answer to short-range missiles, which, according to Israeli and international intelligence sources, Hizbullah is in possession of.

The sum, which was approved by Congress in the framework of the Pentagon’s annual budget, is USD 150 million higher than that which the White House requested for joint security projects with Israel."

3. You can never have enough bullet against a bullet projects.
It's just a little project to keep Rummy's favorite project--the anti-missle missle going. Doing it under the guise of protecting Israel is easier than trying to get more and more funding for the Rummy's never worked and never will missle shield.

Do you suppose that we will get Hezbollah to put homing beacons onto their missles to make the project look like it worked?

4. Yes, and they will conveniently announce launch times and directions
So that the anti-missile missile will be pointed and ready to go. Just like the Pentagon tests.

7. If I thought the nation of Israel could actually pay it's way for anything
....I'd say, cut 'em loose- we can't afford friends like that anymore. However, the nation of trustfunders would descend into even further economic ruin (one page they are taking, unfortunately, from our playbook) if it weren't for the goy with the deep pockets who keeps footing the bill. Oh well- I don't blame Israel for it at all, it's our government giving them the money.

Actually, it's more like we're borrowing the money from China to give to them. Talking about borrowing from Peter to pay Stalin. :eyes:
