1. More people read DU than watch MSNBC
that's why MS is getting out

3. SO it'll become even MORE right-wing
good thing I don't watch. WHile they're changing the name, they should make it GE/RNC to reflect the programming skew.

4. Naw, I don't think Microschlock had much to do with the programming
so it'll likely stay exactly the same.

So instead of MSRNC, it'll be GEGOP. Not much difference.

5. Hate to say this, but "Countdown's" wrap-up of Shrub's speech other nite
was all but a cheerleading section for Georgie. I was sooooo disappointed in KO. I like a lot of his shows, but that coverage was such a one-sided, "let's hear it for The "Boy" thing, I had to turn it off. But maybe KO's (new) "producers" made him do it. He often complains how they make him "do" certain segments...though usually "fluffier" pieces than this. This was a speech that needed SERIOUSLY dissected, and all we got was "fluff."

Oh well, there goes another show I'll be crossing off my list. Is there no one left now but "Daily Show" and "Colbert?"

8. Can you believe those numbers?!!
"Today MSNBC still ranks a distant third behind Fox News and Time Warner Inc.'s CNN in the Nielsen ratings, with just 257,000 viewers in November, versus 449,000 for CNN and 889,000 for Fox News."

Ugghh
