What to do with Capote, Frost, and Kissinger?
The Atlantic Monthly -- venerable chronicle of the nation's politics, arts, and letters for 148 years -- is packing up and moving out of Boston to its parent company's offices in Washington, D.C., and, as in any big move, it's the odds and ends accumulated over the years that are proving the most vexing.

And what's wrong with Boston????

Population decreased... housing price is ridiculous... is everybody getting out?

4. Go Bucs!
Saw the flag and had to say it. I've come down with a case of playoff fever. Excuse me.

5. No excuse needed.
Long time Buc fan. Go Cadillac

One of the happiest days in my life was when they won the SB. The sweetest thing about it was they went though Philly to do it. Heh, heh, heh.

9. Thanks.
My hubby has a flag tatoo with XXXVII underneath it. That season we had the pleasure of seeing them twice in person. Once in Baltimore, a shut-out where Derrick Brooks scored a touchdown right in front of me. I swear he heard me screaming his name because the stadium got so quiet when he intercepted. I also saw the Steelers beat them later in the year which I have blocked out. ;-)

But my happiest memory at a game was in Philadelphia. I live in PA in Eagle country. They are really annoying and often offensive people. They are also fair-weather fans loving the team when they win and really hating them when they lose. I enjoy an Eagles loss as much as a Buc win. I had gone to the previous playoff game when the Eagles beat the Bucs and that really sucked. The game that was great that I went to was the season opener after the BUcs won the Super BOwl. I did not have the fortune of going to NFC championship game but I loved what happened. So the Bucs shut down the Vet and the Eagles had a new stadium.

They pulled out all the works, Teddy Pendergrass, That Irish tenor who's name I can't recall (think God Bless America), Sylvester Stallone (Rocky! How could lose in front of Rocky?) Laser and fireworks show which followed a 20 minute movie about the Eagles. As I sat watching the lasers and smelling the smoke I laughed and laughed because we just knew the Eagle were still, despite all of that, going to lose. It was another shutout 17-0 I believe. We had to wait until most of the stadium cleared before we went to our car.

I doubt they'll go all of the way again this year but I have hope for the future. Cadillac is a remarkable, legend in the making and Chris Simms has moments of greatness. When he throws deep he's as accurate as Favre. I'll enjoy watching what's left of the season. No matter what happens they beat the Eagles record!

"They are really annoying and often offensive people." You can say that again. Oh' I did, didn't I.

Simms really is coming into his own. I'm smelling NFC title game.

6. John Kerry or Ted Kennedy should do something about it.
The Atlantic is moving to Washington as part of an effort by David Bradley, the magazine's owner, to save money on rent in Boston and encourage collaboration with his other publications, including the National Journal, Government Executive, and The Hotline.

8. How about Tom Menino?
I can't believe Bostonians would re-elect him, as if they haven't had enough of the sufferings.
