Demonstrators Greet Bush During Georgia Visit
POSTED: 7:46 pm EST March 9, 2006

COLLEGE PARK -- President Bush's motorcade was greeted by 75 chanting protesters outside the state Republican Party fundraiser that he headlines tonight.

The protesters lined the street leading up to the Georgia International Convention Center in College Park. They carried signs and prompted other passing motorists to honk their horns.

The protesters chanted "No war! No way! No fascist USA!" as Bush's motorcade arrived from the airport.

Organized by the Georgia Peace and Justice Coalition, the protest's signs and chants were mostly focused on the war in Iraq. <snip>

4. Apparently there must have been only one passable road in there
otherwise they would have certainly avoided that.

9. A friend was there -- Ironic that my sister had to protect Bush!
My sister works for Homeland in Atlanta; she hates him with a passion, but hey, that's her job!

And I think a friend of mine attended the protests.

Liberals of Georgia unite (counting me, that makes about 200 of us!)!
