Bush to raise money for Santorum
<Bush is scheduled to attend a private fundraising dinner Friday evening for Santorum at a Sewickly Heights residence. The two are not scheduled to appear together publicly.

Among Pennsylvania voters in a Quinnipiac University poll released last month, Bush had a 37 percent approval rating. The number is consistent with recent nationwide polls.

Santorum didn't attend a Veteran's Day stop Nov. 11 by Bush at Tobyhanna Army Depot. He instead spoke to veterans in Philadelphia. Santorum did attend Bush's speech in Philadelphia on Dec. 12.

Richard P. Simmons, the former chairman and CEO of Allegheny Technologies, is playing host to Friday's fundraiser. The price is $1,000 to attend, and $10,000 for a photo with Santorum and Bush, said Virginia Davis, Santorum's campaign manager.

Democratic strategist James Carville is scheduled to raise money in Philadelphia on Wednesday at an event for Casey targeting young professionals. The price tag is $100 to enter.>

1. Pennsylvania Senate: Santorum Still Way Behind
February 20, 2006--Republican Senator Rick Santorum continues to trail Democratic challenger Bob Casey, Jr. The latest Rasmussen Reports election poll shows Santorum behind by 16 percentage points, 52% to 36%. That's essentially the same gap we found in last month's poll.
