Bush turns down bike challenge
WAS it the prospect of a bicycle race against Danish Prime Minister Anders Fogh Rasmussen that made US President George W. Bush decide that his 60th birthday next month makes him "old?"

Two days ago, Mr Bush looked ahead to the July 6 celebration and quipped: "It's not that old, it really isn't."

But asked overnight whether he and Mr Rasmussen would race during a mountain bike ride around this presidential retreat, Mr Bush jokingly replied: "No, we're old, one of us is old. I'm taking a lesson."

Mr Bush invited Mr Rasmussen for talks on a wide range of subjects, including the war in Iraq, diplomacy with Iran, and efforts to end violence in Sudan's Darfur region, but both leaders also looked forward to a spin around the grounds.

"It's going to be hard work; I know that. But I will do my very best to keep up with you, Mr President," said the prime minister.

4. Chicken Chimp
Obviously * knew that since this guy doesn't have to let him cross the finish line first like the rest of his paid flunkies (who ride at a prescribed pace behind him for the whole ride) that he probably would come in 2nd and we all know Mr. Arrogance cannot tolerate losing at anything. He really is a psychological freak.
