Ariz. AG: Fugitive Polygamist Has Returned

Arizona's attorney general believes polygamist leader Warren Jeffs recently returned to perform more marriages involving underage girls in his church's community along the Utah-Arizona state line.

"I've heard from a number of different sources who said he's been here," Attorney General Terry Goddard told the Deseret Morning News for Saturday editions. "They said he's performed marriages, and (they) pointed out a mobile home they said was the wedding chapel."

1. This is truly PATHETIC!

It's really embarassing how freely this guy seems to be able to travel around with complete impunity. I understand they're scared of another Waco if they go after him, but really, this is ridiculous!!

At least not easily.

If you get a chance read the John Krakaur book "Under The Banner of Heaven". You'll learn even more about Warren Jeffs. There is NO DOUBT in my mind that he's moving to and from his little holy empire with help of some of the locals. Likely they know exactly where he is and have means to get him in and out without being seen. For that some of the locals should be prosecuted for aiding and abetting a fugitive.

Personally, I would love to see this guy taken down. Toss him into a prison where some cellmate is going to call him his "toy".
