US pushes Security Council on N Korea missile test

UNITED NATIONS, June 19 (Reuters) - The United States is consulting members of the U.N. Security Council on possible steps the global body might take if North Korea tests a missile, U.S. Ambassador John Bolton said on Monday.

"Right now we are in consultation with various members of the council (on) what steps might be taken because it obviously would be very serious," Bolton told reporters at U.N. headquarters. "The first preference is that the North Koreans not light the missile off. We have made that clear to them."

2. Why exactly are the North Koreans not allowed to test a missile?

7. This is insane. And who are we to criticize anyone elses military
buildup. As long as we keep making more draconian weapons, the rest of the world will try to protect themselves.
