Iraq says militias hindering new security plan

BAGHDAD, June 20 (Reuters) - A senior Iraqi Defence Ministry official said on Tuesday that militia "interference" was hindering the efforts of security forces as they conduct a major security operation in Baghdad.

"We are finding that some of the militias are interfering in our work. We cannot operate effectively if there are people out there who are carrying weapons," Major General Abdul Aziz Mohammed told Reuters.

"If this problem is solved then I am sure security will stabilise for longer periods."

Militias loyal to the dominant Shi'ite political parties have been accused by Sunni groups of kidnapping and killing Sunnis. Shi'ite politicians deny sanctioning violence but have acknowledged that some militiamen and elements of the police force itself have been responsible for some such crimes.

1. Damn. "Policing would be easy if it weren't for all these criminals. . ."
The possibilities here are endless, like a bad joke from Mad Magazine.

"Nursing is easy, if it weren't for all these sick people."

"Teaching is a cinch, if all the students knew everything already."

"Presidenten is hard work, especially as I have no brain."

3. I only have one thing to say to the puppets in Iraq...
boo-fucking-hoo.

If they actually ever did their jobs and stopped jumping through fucking hoops for their U.S. masters, maybe they would earn some of that credibility they so often seek.

But then again, they are only the leaders of the Green Zone, just like that idiot and former oil man who is the leader of Kabul or that other idiot* that is "leader" in washington.

They do figure heads great, but actual leaders need to be born not created.

It's going to take a very long time to unfuck this unfuckable situation. A good start would be to get rid of moron* and his room full of dopes.

colossal racist chickenshit failure*

4. It's hard to run a crackdown with security forces you can't control.
It is amazing that the Iraqi government seriously thought
they could secure Baghdad with forces throughly infiltrated
by partisan militias.
