Probe finds Iraqi troops killed 2 American soldiers
The deaths of Army Spc. Patrick R. McCaffrey Sr., 34, of Tracy and 1st Lt. Andre D. Tyson, 33, of Riverside were originally attributed to an ambush during a patrol near Balad, Iraq, on June 22, 2004.

But the Army's Criminal Investigation Division concluded there was foul play after probing the circumstances for several months.

The investigators found that one or more of the Iraqis attached to the American soldiers on patrol fired at them, a military official said Tuesday. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because the military did not plan to release the report until Wednesday.

They said earlier in the day that their deaths were listed as "Top Secret" because the Bush admin found out they weren't killed by insurgents!

8. The snake pit
Early on, about the time the US went to Afghanistan after 9/11, I suggested that the middle east and islam was an ugly snake pit of humanity. They have been dismembering and decapitating for a few thousand years. They have been slaving and whoring girls, women, and young boys for even longer than islam has existed. Mohamed never asked them to change but only to pray for power to remove the infidels from the earth by any means.
Taking or overcoming these people does not mean just taking the rattles off their tails and allowing them to coil and strike at will.
It will never be a peace loving democracy that will cause them to make change with just killing some. Like "baal" with all it's cruel ugliness it must be caused to destroy itself!

25. It sounds like you are advocating genocide.
And what do you have against Baal anyway? Perhaps you would like to see a repeat of this uplifting bit of religious history:

"5: And Moses said unto the judges of Israel, Slay ye every one his men that were joined unto Baal-peor.
6: And, behold, one of the children of Israel came and brought unto his brethren a Midianitish woman in the sight of Moses, and in the sight of all the congregation of the children of Israel, who were weeping before the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
7: And when Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, saw it, he rose up from among the congregation, and took a javelin in his hand;
8: And he went after the man of Israel into the tent, and thrust both of them through, the man of Israel, and the woman through her belly. So the plague was stayed from the children of Israel.
9: And those that died in the plague were twenty and four thousand."

37. so, Islam is bad-Christianity is good?
Maybe you should take a look at history before making rash statements. People are people and you find zealotry in every religion, including Christianity. Iraq was a secular state, which our government's actions have turned into a fundamentalist cess pool. I have enough empathy, that if some country, say like China, attacked my country, even though I had a despotic government, I would not be throwing flowers at their feet, like the great white hope. I would be using anything and everything in my means to oust them from my country. Some act like only we are superior, only we can be saviors--we must save the "ignorant, godless, brown people." Such bullshite. Revolution comes from within, not from without--if you look at our history and foreign policies, you'll see that we really don't give a damn about democracy, as long as the leaders of other countries bow down to our multinational corporations.

40. The ignorance
If you knew anything, you'd know that the Middle East was the cradle of civilization. Civilization itself started in the region, the first buildings, the first great cities, the first innovations were made in the land of the Tigris and Euphrates. While Europe was wallowing in darkness, sitting in their petty fiefdoms and waiting for the apocalypse, Arabs and Muslims were studying astronomy, algebra, trade and more. Their cities drew the envy of the world, their beautiful buildings have inspired awe for countless years. Europe would do anything to get their hands on the spices and treasures which came from the East (read: Middle East). Muslims tolerated Jews and Christians while Europeans were busy burning as many people as possible. Islamic armies left Synagogues and Churches stand and even repaired them while the Crusaders murdered and pillaged and ravaged all they could (even Constantinople). If you knew anything, I wouldn't need to say the obvious.

If you knew anything, you'd know that the religion of Ba'al was no different than the religions of Rome and Greece. If you knew anything, you'd know that the Near East of antiquity was also a place of great things. The Persians built the most effective system of roads known at the time, their prolific mail system gave inspiration for those of today (neither rain nor sleet...), Persopolis radiates with glory even after its destruction. Babylon was the place of the Ishtar Gate, the Temple of Marduk and the famous Hanging Gardens. If you knew anything, you'd know that these societies were really no different than others. If you knew anything, you'd know that the "peace loving democracies" of nearby Greece were downright misogynist, elitist, plutocratic, petty, racist and more.

If you knew anything, you wouldn't make such insipid comments.

Get a grip.

43. You're a racist, plain and simple. Why is beheading any
more or less barbarous than B-52s carpet bombing from altitudes > 5,000 feet? Weirdly enough, beheading seems to me almost less barbarous than the anonymous B52 carpet bomber, if only because with beheading there's at least a relationship between executioner and victim.

They are trying to take on N Korea and Iran on top of Iraq and Afghanastan....something has to give....I think the law of averages are against this administration...
