Senate RollVote2 US Iraq

The 60-39 roll call by which the Senate rejected a nonbinding resolution that would have called for the administration to begin withdrawing troops by year's end. It did not include a deadline for all combat forces to be out.

4. These are states where a large amount of men who are
serving in Iraq are from. People down here aren't ready to hear its all for nothing... Just not quite ready to accept they've been duped.. and I told them since the beginning when I was agruing against this war to co-workers. I said its all about oil. Afghanastan has nothing to do with Iraq.

6. Oh nonsense.
California has by far the most casualties and it is exactly states with large numbers of men and women in service where OUR LEADERS need to speak up and tell them the truth. No wonder Democrats are considered weak.

13. Because CA is so large, a senator doesn't want to seem
like they aren't supporting the troops. The dems are so stupid, they are playing into cut and run. They need to play into Iraqi PM saying leave. Thank you, its time for us to take over now. J. Kerry said this on the floor. Does it get coverage, no.... Dems are stupid. They play right into cut and run mentality.

At this point most Americans don't really care, they say cut and run and let them destroy themselves. Bush doesn't want to let go because Haliburton would be pissed.

12. Being from Minnesota I cannot understand why Dayton would
vote that way when he is not running BUT I do understand the 4 southern senators vote. They come from very conservative states and they cannot risk losing the elections for a vote that was not going to win in the first place. Lieberman is just a wolf in sheep's clothing and he needs to go.

14. I apologize
I was making the claim on the roll call votes I've seen alone... and that was unfair.

11. Even though it's symbolic, it's progress. Better than not debating it.
It's a start. It's enough to scare the GOP.

Gotta keep the pressure on and the public networks covering the idea of getting out. Gotta catapult the posibility.

Let's see in increase.
