3. Add two more for the big pile!

Grass Bush

Pile the bodies high in Austerlitz and Waterloo Iraq
Shovel them under and let me work--
I am the grass; bush; I cover all.

And pile them high in Gettyburg Baghdad
And pile them high in Ypres and Vedum Mossoul and Al Fallaujah

Two years, ten years, and passengers ask the conductor:
What place is this?

I am the grass bush.
Let me work.

9. Look, the Regime is quite clear
Servicemen are just numbers...

The Centcom brief treats Iraq as though it's a game of RISK. They have x number of faceless, soulless, non-descript pieces and so do we...

Each death over there (50,000?) is not the ending of a personal story. It's not the loss of a human life, it's not the snuffing out of a person with wants, needs, loves and desires. It's merely a tick mark on a wall plaque somewhere...

11. It is all a game to them.
Not to just Centcom but all our leaders feel that way. The collective, individuals are just pawns in their game of power and money.
