Roadside bomb kills U.S. soldier in Baghdad, military says

Published: July 23, 2007

BAGHDAD: A roadside bomb killed a U.S. soldier in Baghdad,
the military said Monday.

The explosion that struck the Multi-National Corps — Iraq
soldier's vehicle occurred on Saturday, according to the
statement.

The soldier's identity was not release pending notification
of relatives.

The death raised to at least 3,633 members of the U.S.
military who have died since the Iraq war started in March
2003, according to an Associated Press count.

to have it's best effect.

:crazy: - if car bombs are going off in the city you're ''protecting'' -- then it's not working -- at all.
