Blackwater supports inquiry into fatal shooting(Iraqi VP's bodyguard)

After one of his personal bodyguards was shot to death by a Blackwater USA security contractor last Christmas Eve, Iraqi Vice President Adil Abdul-Mahdi assured the U.S. ambassador that he was trying to keep the incident out of the public eye.

Nevertheless, Abdul-Mahdi told the ambassador, he hoped the contractor would be brought to justice because Iraqis would not understand how a foreigner could kill an Iraqi and be spirited back home a free man.

Seven months later, the contractor has not been charged with any crime.

Internal correspondence between the U.S. and Iraqi governments over the Dec. 24 shooting, released to The Virginian-Pilot under the Freedom of Information Act, sheds additional light on an international incident that could test the murky legal status of civilian contractors in Iraq.

These men killed people in Louisiana without charges, they came here during Hurricane Isabell. We expected to see the National Guard, but Blackwater boys armed with m16 Machine Guns were patrolling our streets.

The local lumber yard sells Blackwater over 400 residential doors per month, as they are training to control a population. Urban assault training , if you will.

I am certain of one thing, none of these Blackwater men or any of their 100+ affiliates across the Country will ever be held accountable for killing or beating any American or Non-American citizen... They are killers, plain and simple.

It sounds as if someone in our government was trying to assassinate the Vice President of Iraq, and I would like to know MUCH more about this! Also, the fact that these mercenaries so far seem to be subject to neither military nor U.S. criminal courts is appalling.

...that if they tried any BS martial law in the US, then some folks will get the gist and probably do more damage to em' than any of those Iraqis did on that bridge. Let's see Blackwater security try to take on Detroit, South side of Chicago, South central and East LA, the Bronx or even Brooklyn for that matter.

This company's annual profits rose 1000% since this war started.. Are you serious.. This company has more Blackhawk Helos than our Military. They have 45 in this base near my house alone. This company is Funded Big Time. This is Bush's Black Army, if you will.
