GOP-led board puts off Democrat's request on voting machine tests
Source: Zanesville Times Recorder

COLUMBUS - The state's chief elections official will have to wait two weeks to find out if she will get $1.7 million to run tests on Ohio's new electronic voting machine system, a legislative panel ruled Monday.

Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner told the state Controlling Board that the delay likely will make it tougher for her office to complete the testing by January, the deadline she set for issuing the results to county boards of elections. Next year's primary is early - March 4 - because of the presidential election.

The delay may increase the price of the unbid contract her office negotiated with Denver-based SysTest Labs. The Controlling Board, controlled by Republicans, must sign off on most unbid contracts. Brunner is a Democrat.

5. They KNOW It is All Going to Come Down to Ohio, AGAIN
If our candidate is Hillary Clinton or Barak Obama, then we will have to find ALL of our electoral votes outside the South. That makes Ohio a must-win for us.

If the Repiggies can steal Ohio again, they win. It is that simple.

7. They are looking to re-write CA law
they want to change the way California hands out it's electoral votes. They want to do it along Congressional district. If this happens then they will pick up about 19 from CA and if that happens, who needs Ohio. It has been approved to start gathering signatures and the last poll taken shows 41% of Dems in the state back it. I have received one e-mail from the state party here with a weak argument as to why we should not vote for it.

13. That is Why I Said Ohio is a Must Win FOR US
There are a lot of ways THEY can win, and getting that refrendum to pass in California is one of them.

We have to run the table outside of the South or we lose.
