4. This is the ONLY reason why Bush did this. To piss-off the Chinese.
Out of pure malice and machismo.

And to help bring about his Apocalypse in Iran.

12. I intend to boycott the Beijing Olympics anyway.
My husband and I will not watch any of the events or coverage, buy any products deemed "official" with the Olympic symbol, and we will discourage others from watching or attending.

The Chinese can kiss my a$$.

14. Hey China! Piss Off!!!
What are they gonna do, Stop making all our cheap crap for Wal-Mart?

I've been waiting for SEVEN YEARS for this day, when the U.S. Congress FINALLY makes up for bowing to pressure from COMMUNIST CHINA and pressuring The United Nations to NOT invite The Nobel Peace Prize winning Dalai Lama to the August 28-30, 2000

Millennium Peace Summit!!!

<http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/asia-pacific/895542.stm>

I was one of the thousands who wrote angry e-mails (back when an e-mail actually meant something) about this outrage, which resulted in the Tibet Policy Act of 2001 (look it up).
