Senate Panel To Delay Vote On Telecom Immunity Issue
Source: CNN Money

WASHINGTON -(Dow Jones)- The Senate Judiciary Committee won't decide whether to offer telephone companies immunity for their alleged participation in a warrantless government wiretapping program until next week, a spokeswoman for the panel said.

A planned mark-up of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act will now be split into two parts, the spokeswoman said.

6. Interesting point! Since these are civil suits, congress...
.. would be removing a previously held right to sue, post facto. Would have been a good debate, in "the old country".

This is getting sad. Our supposed "lawmakers" must be given stupid pills once they get to office (there are the few who refuse to take them, of course). Stupid pills == PAC money.
