When the Warren Commission began investigating JFK's assassination, Bolden says, he attempted to inform members about the Chicago plot and misconduct by his fellow agents.

During that time Bolden was arrested and prosecuted for soliciting a bribe from a counterfeiter and served a six-year sentence. He says it was a setup to silence him. The main witness has since recanted, and Bolden hopes now to clear his name...

Maybe the Miami Cubans hired them, trained them, who knows?

I do think there's an unholy, everlasting "romance" between the Cubans and the Repukes that makes one wonder. I mean, no other group that immigrated has had so many perks. What other group is allowed to remain here with all expenses paid, the minute they set 1 foot on land?

that some French sharpshooters from the Marseilles area pulled the triggers and were shuttled out of the country.

But seriously, whoever didn't know Kennedy's assassination was a CIA cover-up had to be blind as all hell.

The people who killed JFK had to have help from high-ranking members of the government to cover up the truth.

For example, Cuba could not have forced Dallas police to release JFK's body (without an investigation or autopsy).

Lyndon Johnson, on the other hand, could and did do exactly that.

under your scenario Lyndon would have been riding (WITH his wife) only a few car lengths behind Kennedy into an ambush he knew was there.

I don't find that likely.

I remember there was at least one plot uncovered before JFK went to Dallas. Does anyone else remember that?

They were 4 or 5 Cubans from Miami. Doesn't anyone remember? They're Cubans, all right. Born in Cuba. Connected to the American right-wing sociopaths, have worked with the CIA in VietNam, throughout South America in hit teams, working for Operation Condor, assassinating Chilean diplomat Orlando Letellier and his American assistant, Ronnie Moffit, wounding her husband on the streets of Washington, D.C., slaughtering the Cuban Ambassador to the U.N., in New York, assisting in Iran-Contra, etc., etc., ETC..

Cubans. Right-wing Cubans, known for their violence. It's part of history, for chrissakes. They're still hard at it, after, in 1976, bombed the first airliner while in flight on record, killing all 73 people aboard, including children, having bombed night-clubs, restaurants in Cuba, gone ashore and assassinated Cubans, killed them as they fished in the water off Cuba, planned and nearly executed an assassination on Fidel Castro in Panama a couple of years ago.

Cubans. Surely some people paid attention, at some point, to some of these events. We're not ALL blind, for chrissakes.

I forgot to mention: one of the first odd acts by _{George W. Bush} was to spring the two Cubans involved in the murder of leftist Chilean diplomat Orlando Letelier from prison, thereby assuring they served almost no time at all for their filthy bombing murder of the man and his assistant in broad daylight.

Wan't he heard on one of his tapes mentioning that it had something to do with anti-Castro plans? He is also heard saying, on tape, that the Warren Commission investigation is one of the greatest hoaxes perpetrated on the American people.

They had enough on him to make him go on with the war..Someone posted an article on here saying that Kennedy about two weeks before he was killed got really angry and said he was going to bring the boys home, and was going to stop the war, and in two weeks he was dead.

Another interesting JFK related movie released a year later was The Parallax View.

"Ultimate Sacrifice". I believe they documented TWO separate plots to assassinate Kennedy that were thwarted, aborted or otherwise failed within weeks of Dallas. The Chicago plot was one of them, and the other plot was to take place in Tampa just 4 days before Dallas.

Oh, and the actual assassination? It was the mob - Trafficante, Marcello & Rosselli. At least according to THIS book.

the point where it is almost impossible, (without irrefutable evidence to the contrary), to have the murder linked to anyone but Lee Oswald.

There is one thing I firmly believe though, Oswald killed neither JFK nor Tippet.

When I look at the footage from the Oswald Press Conference, and I see him as cool as can be under the circumstances, then see him reply to the Tippet murder charge slightly befuddled...but when he is first informed of the charge that he assassinated Kennedy, he gets visibly shaken...recovers after a few seconds...the body language tells me he just realized he was doomed. I'm sure he was informed of his arrest about Tippet, but until the reporter asks him about his involvement in the JFK shooting, he was clueless.
