San Diego Union Tribune6 workers injured in fuel-tank blast
By Steve Liewer
SAN DIEGO – The U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration has started its own investigation of a Nov. 10 explosion and fire aboard a Navy ship in San Diego, instead of delegating the matter to the affected shipyards.
A spokesman for BAE Systems Inc. had said the opposite last week.

Six workers were injured, and one remains in critical condition with severe burns at UCSD Medical Center in Hillcrest.
