Bomb wounds three U.N. peacekeepers in Lebanon
Source: Reuters

BEIRUT (Reuters) - Three U.N. peacekeeping soldiers were wounded when a roadside bomb hit their vehicle in south Lebanon on Tuesday, security sources said.

There was no immediate word from the U.N. force about the blast in Rmaileh village, 35 km (22 miles) south of Beirut.

The sources said the casualties were Irish. Earlier a security source had identified them as Spanish.

It was the third attack on the 13,500-strong force known as UNIFIL since it was expanded after a 34-day war between Israel and Lebanese Hezbollah guerrillas ended in August 2006.
