If they had jet lag they would go outside and refresh before allowing the others present to believe that they were "bored" by the speaker.

I understand jet lag however and he has been on an amazing schedule.

to doze off during something like this, however, I admit I've been guilty of not being able to keep my eyes open during things like this.

ANYONE could be up there talking and sometimes I just can't help it. And with the schedule they've been on...

I'm not trying to excuse what he did but the man is human.

I hope some of these people would run for something so their every bowel movement will be criticized like this.

If you've never fallen asleep in church during an important sermon on an important day, good on you, but some of us are not immortal saints. Shit, I specifically went to my mom's church (the only time I ever stepped into that wretched hive of scum and villainy) to see Hillary speak when she was running for senate and my black ass fell asleep.

People are so full of shit in the name of propping up candidates.

Is Bill trying to blow it for Hillary? He certainly is stealing the spotlight.

taking a toll. Let's cut him some slack.

When I was a kid, the deaconess that always sat in front of me was named Sister Terry. Sister Terry was 60 years old and used to snore like a thunderstorm until Pastor Norman started hollering, then she'd catch the Holy Ghost and start having seizures and her fifteen pound hats would fall on me.

I have to admit, it makes for an amusing visual.

He is trying his best to stay awake, though. Campaigns can be grueling.

I might have felt sorry for him, but after his behavior the last two weeks, there's no pity for me.

He certainly wasn't "tired" when he was lying about Obama in Nevada.

Too bad they sat him in such a visible location.

Poor guy, I know just how it is trying to stay up during a sermon.
