3. Maybe he was dreaming of another way to murder & plunder, but wait, that's a right-wing obsession.
No doubt his schedule has taken a lot out of him, all things considered, including the fact he had a horrendous health crisis not all that long ago.

Nice try, sorta.

7. I used to fall asleep in church all the time...
...back when I was a kid. So I'm not gonna go casting any stones at The Big Dog here. That said, it's probably not the best idea to fall asleep during a church service honoring the great Dr King. He should've put a tack in his shoe or something.

10. Obama should run this heavily in SC. Political GOLD.
This little video, whether it reflects it or not, reinforces the impression that the Clintons are only interested in blacks for their votes and not the message behind their movement.

45. It would be rare in our African American community for
anyone to fall asleep in church when MLK's son was speaking, especially on that DAY.

If they had jet lag they would go outside and refresh before allowing the others present to believe that they were "bored" by the speaker.

I understand jet lag however and he has been on an amazing schedule.

ANYONE could be up there talking and sometimes I just can't help it. And with the schedule they've been on...

If you've never fallen asleep in church during an important sermon on an important day, good on you, but some of us are not immortal saints. Shit, I specifically went to my mom's church (the only time I ever stepped into that wretched hive of scum and villainy) to see Hillary speak when she was running for senate and my black ass fell asleep.

People are so full of shit in the name of propping up candidates.

And a few scathing quotes from an article about Cheney's disrespect.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A43247-2005Jan27.html?nav=E8

"...gathering of world leaders in southern Poland to mark the 60th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz, the United States was represented by Vice President Cheney. The ceremony at the Nazi death camp was outdoors, so those in attendance, such as French President Jacques Chirac and Russian President Vladimir Putin, were wearing dark, formal overcoats and dress shoes or boots. Because it was cold and snowing, they were also wearing gentlemen's hats. In short, they were dressed for the inclement weather as well as the sobriety and dignity of the event."

The vice president, however, was dressed in the kind of attire one typically wears to operate a snow blower.

...olive drab parka with a fur-trimmed hood. It is embroidered with his name.
...a knit ski cap, embroidered with the words "Staff 2001."
...hiking boots -- thick, brown, lace-up ones.

" in a frigid, snow-dusted Washington, Cheney sat outside through the entire inauguration without so much as a hat and without suffering frostbite. And clearly, Cheney owns a proper overcoat. The world saw it during his swearing-in as vice president. Cheney treated that ceremony with the dignity it deserved -- not simply through his demeanor, but also through his attire. Would he have dared to take the oath of office with a ski cap on?"

60. 'Cause he falls asleep in church just like we do
When I was a kid, the deaconess that always sat in front of me was named Sister Terry. Sister Terry was 60 years old and used to snore like a thunderstorm until Pastor Norman started hollering, then she'd catch the Holy Ghost and start having seizures and her fifteen pound hats would fall on me.
