Layoffs Rise 68% From March To April
Source: The Huffington Post

WASHINGTON — The number of newly laid off workers filing claims for unemployment benefits soared last week.

The Labor Department reported Thursday that claims for unemployment benefits rose by 35,000 to 380,000. Private economists had expected claims would rise by a smaller 18,000.

The report on jobless claims came a day ahead of a report on unemployment for April. Economists expect that report will show that the unemployment rate edged up to 5.2 percent in April, from 5.1 percent in March. The economy is expected to lose 70,000 jobs, the fourth straight month of job losses.

6. I certainly hope that the economists are making their predictions
for free. I would hate to learn they are being paid for their predictions.

Have any of them ever been right?

3. But we're not in a recession!!!!!!
This country is not in a recession. It is in a depression. And more and more are being laid off and more and more will face, as some already are, the reality of the point at which unemployment runs out and they are forced to take menial jobs wherever they can just to try to keep food on the table in a house they can no longer afford payments on.

The Empress took the interests of the American people off the table as well as impeachment. She is just as evil as the Emperor.
