CINCINNATI: The outsourcing company Convergys Corp is expanding again in the Philippines.

The Cincinnati-based company announced plans Tuesday for five new customer contact centers that will employ up to 7,000 people.

That will bring the company's workforce in the Philippines to about 20,000 employees. The country recently topped India as the company's largest overseas operation. Convergys has some 12,000 workers in India and 75,000 worldwide.

Convergys provides call center, billing and human resources services for companies in a variety of industries. The new contact centers will offer general support and advanced technical help desk services.

1. The big lie in this article? Calling it 'US' company. It is a foreign
company owned by greedy Americans. It needs to lose every tax break and legal protection that they are currently operating under.

2. You're right....
Take away all the big-ass tax breaks from them. They can't say they couldn't find anyone to do these jobs here....the unemployment rate is so damn high.
