By 6 votes to 5, Brazilian Supreme Court approves embryonic stem cell research

BRASÍLIA - With six favorable votes and five contrary, the Supreme Court (STF) approved this Thursday the use of embryonic stem cells in scientific research, without restrictions. The historic decision was celebrated by activists outside the Court building.
