'Demons would fight with him' ( Priest Stabbed )
Source: Caller Times

About a year ago, David Rodriguez walked into an afternoon prayer service at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church seeking help.

On Friday, the 36-year-old was accused of stabbing the Rev. Shaji F. Varghese, 42, the church administrator and one of the very people who had tried to help him.

Parishioner Patsy Molina remembers meeting Rodriguez on that afternoon about a year ago and said he seemed lost that day. She said he told her “I need someone to help me.”

“So I helped him,” she said.

She showed him how to pray the Rosary and gave him material to read.

She started seeing Rodriguez, who told her that he had been a Marine, more and more at Masses. He also started to attend a Wednesday prayer group. Sometimes he would even carry the cross, when a substitute was needed, as was the case during Lent this year.

1. Both the priest and the attacker are casualities
The priest of this attack, and Rodriguez of whatever in his past caused him to tip over like that.

2. One of my best Friends

who was a helicopter pilot in Vietnam (and was wounded) came over to talk to my Son who was about to join the Marines.

In 35 years he has rarely talked about his experiences. He told my Son that combat was the worst experience a human being could ever have.

4. No one I ever met who fought in WWII talked about it, either.

6. Despite how the RW media plays it
Not everyone who survived service in the Second World War thinks more war is such a hot f--king idea. My grandpa for one was not too happy about that dumb ass who was in the White House before Obama getting us into a war in Iraq.

3. Very sad. Whatever he needed in the way of help, he apparently didn't find it there.
