1. I agree
I think people want a serious president, and one of Bush's liabilities is he that he doesn't appear to have grown in the job.

everything we've been through in the last three years, the Elvis wont' be an issue. It shouldn't be. Why do some Americans feel the need to have a president that's going to entertain them?

We have had enough of an entertainer/frat boy moron. The Ship of State has been bouncing dangerously all over the waves. People want a steady hand at the helm. Even if people find they don't fully agree with every policy, they will feel safer with Kerry. The craziness of Bush comes out again as the story of a US coup in Haiti grows. Iraq redux. I don't think the Elvis factor is as big this time around, though depending on circumstances, it could hit Kerry hard in 4 years.
