1. I don't understand why he's guarded...
...my 75 year old father who is in poor health had the same thing. He went to the ER on Saturday and they removed his gallbladder on Monday. He was out by Wednesday and is doing fine. My brother is an ER physician who said this is very common low risk surgery.

I didn't wish him ill will now did I?

If you are looking for mean-spirits check out the level of bile at free republic.

Then after you have taken several showers to clean the filth off come back here and call me that again.

BTW: Welcome to Democratic Underground.

6. "Guarded" condition means that it is not yet apparent whether ...
the condition of the patient will improve or deteriorate, hence "guarding" or watching closely over the patient.

9. That's usually the case with gallbladder
surgery. Most gallbladder surgery, though, is done on someone suffering gallstones and inflammation of the gallbladder (cholecystitis). Pancreatitis is usually a much more serious condition and takes longer to recover from, but either condition can kill you if not treated.

18. So why are they taking out his gallbladder,
when the disease that he has is of the pancreas?

There's more going on here then they are telling us. Last week the doctors were saying that they only see pancreatis this advanced in men with a history of alcoholism. I think they are doing a bait and switch with the diagnosis here?

24. Because gallstones in the gallbladder
can cause pancreatitis. If they remove his gallbladder, it will prevent future pancreatitis (if the pancreatitis was caused by the gallstones). The liver, gallbladder, and pancreas are part of the same digestive system.

Snip
----
Pathogenesis: Several mechanisms have been proposed to play a causative role in the genesis of pancreatitis:

1. Obstruction of the pancreatic duct (e.g. gallstones) increased the intraductal pressure and the back-diffusion of pacreatic proenzymes into the periductal tissues producing their activation. However, ligation of the pancreatic duct and tumors do not have this effect.

Just guessing, but Comey appointed Fitzgerald. And Fitzgerald may be about to unravel the complete FRAUD and SCAM that is this administration.

21. A$$crap is just in hiding...investigation against him...
because he's a corrupt bastard, and when he opens his mouth, little man bush's polls go down. The media has reported at least 3 different accounts of his sickness. Gallstone operation today, is just a simple opening next to the bellybutton, no overnight stay in the hospital required. Why they have A$$crap hiding in a hospital at taxpayer's expense, is just the arroogancy for all those criminals.

22. Anybody hoping a smart alack doctor implanted a fetus on his spleen
while they had him opened up? It was done with male apes and ape fetuses back in the 80s and gestation went OK. Wouldn't if be fun if he woke up pregnant? Might broaden his perspective about a lot of things.

26. Cost of Med Care for 1 month
How much will it cost to keep him in the hospital for a month with around the clock care? We got a bill today for an outpatient deal with tests, no overnight stay and certainly not the care A$hcroft is getting -- over $2000 for a long afternoon. It's disgusting that 44,000,000 have no insurance and probably another 50,000,000 have lousy insurance, yet bush and the rest don't give a ----.
