FOUR Britons freed from two years captivity in Guantanamo Bay were still prisoners after flying home last night.
They were arrested under the Terrorism Act and face questioning about any possible links to the Taliban and al-Qaeda. A fifth man was briefly held under border controls but was later freed.
As anguished families of the detained men waited to speak to their loved ones, lawyer Greg Powell acting for suspect Ruhal Ahmed said: "These men were treated like terrorists at Guantanamo. Now they're back home they're still being treated as terrorists."
Campaigner Salman Mirza added: "They've already been shown to pose no threat to national security. If they are questioned again it will be absolutely disgraceful."
