1. Good
Ashcroft illegally manipulated things to get the trial moved to the state he thought most likely go give the death penalty. I don't in any way condone what Malvo did. However, I'm against the death penalty and if something slaps Ashcroft, I love it.

2. How was it illegal to hold the trial here in VA?
Other areas still have claim on both these murdering bastards. VA just went first.

3. Ashcroft hates Jesus Christ's guts
Edited on Wed Mar-10-04 11:51 AM by Gman
They were captured in Maryland. That low down, dirty, no good, POS, its a good thing that he's in serious pain, Ashcroft got them moved to Virginia because he hates Jesus Christ's guts and wanted to see Malvo die. Ashcroft knows Jesus stands for forgiveness and the sanctity of life. These concepts are anathema to Ashcroft. So in order to do the most terrible thing to offend Christ, Ashcroft got Malvo moved to VA so he could be executed while Ashcroft laughed in Christ's face.

4. Huh?
DC, MD and VA all had a claim on these bastards. It's only natural that they picked the most conservative location first.

How does wanting to see murderers die transform into hating "Jesus Christ's guts?"

5. Ashcroft hates Jesus Christ's guts
Ashcroft knows Jesus stands for forgiveness, the sanctity of life and all things liberal. These concepts are anathema to Ashcroft. So in order to do the most terrible thing to offend Christ, Ashcroft got Malvo moved to VA so he could be executed while Ashcroft laughed in Christ's face.

6. Thanks for the hyperbole
Many Christians oppose the death penalty. Many more do not. While we try our best to follow Christ's teachings, most of us accept that we are not truly Christ-like and deal with that reality.

In this case, these two murdering bastards terrorized millions of people and death is perfectly appropriate.

7. Its not hyperbole. Do you disagree that Ashcroft hates Jesus' guts?
If so, why? Do you actually consider Ashcroft some kind of "christian"? What has Ashcroft done that is Christ-like in his entire life? Do you not think Ashcroft gets sheer joy from being directly responsible for someone being executed in spite of Christ's telling us to follow his new way and turn the other cheek? Why? Do you not think Jesus was the first liberal and His teachings are the foundation of the liberal movement?

10. I don't get to decide
Ashcroft gets to decide whether he is Christian or not. Not me.

I think Ashcroft, like many in this country, wants these two murderers executed.

And, no I am not ceding the teachings of Jesus to any one political movement or group.

8. Malvo can be tried again
We'll soon find out if anybody decides to prosecute him for the other killings. If they do, they'll have another shot at death sentence.
